The original Muji shoulder straps with shoulder pads are designed to distribute weight evenly across the full strap width, helping to reduce pressure and discomfort on your shoulders when carrying heavy loads. This patented shoulder strap technology (Patent No. 6445744 for backpack shoulder straps and backpacks equipped with them) helps prevent straps from digging into your shoulders and reduces the feeling of excessive weight.

The top opens wide so you can easily see and access the contents, and an added belt allows you to attach the bag securely to a suitcase carry bar. Both the outer and lining fabrics use recycled materials, and part of the surface is treated with a water-repellent finish.
